Two hard-hitting ring gladiators Rocky Fuentes and Jojo Bardon promise fireworks when they clash for the Philippine flyweight title in the undercard of the OPBF championship battle between flashy southpaw Z "The Dream" Gorres and former champion Waengpetch Chuwatana in Mandaue City on March 11.

The Fuentes-Bardon showdown may well steal the thunder from the main event as the two little men with big punches go after each other.

The 20 year old Fuentes has 8 knockouts in 13 wins with 4 losses and 2 draws while Bardon from the stable of Rex "Wakee" Salud boasts of a record of 13 wins, 9 losses and one draw with a similar 8 knockouts to his name.

The stocky Bardon established a name for himself in Indonesia when he scored three knockouts and is determined to win the vacant 112 pound title against an equally determined Fuentes..

The odds are about even leading up to the fight although Fuentes who hails from the famed ALA Gym of respected Cebu boxing patron Tony Aldeguer is slightly favored. Whatever the outcome fight fans are guaranteed be an action-packed affair which will be telecast on the top-rated weekly boxing show "The Main Event" over RPN 9, sponsored by Tanduay, the No. 1 Rhum.
