Former four division champion Roy Jones Jr. has issued a warning that people should not sleep on the boxing ability of "Sugar" Shane Mosley on May 7 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mosley will face WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao. The former three division champion is a sizable underdog in the contest, but Jones could see 39-year-old veteran giving Pacquiao some problems. A lot of critics have bashed the fight due to Mosley's recent performances. Jones expects a competitive contest.
"Manny Pacquiao is on top of the boxing world right now. He's been winning and beating good fighters. He should win the fight but don't count Mosley out completely. Pacquiao has been beating guys in bigger weight classes, and he's hot right now. With that said, don't completely count Mosley out because he's got skills too. Sometimes a guy with skills is able to make some adjustments in their older age. I'm looking for a great fight from both men, and I am looking forward to seeing it," Jones told Brad Cooney of 8countnews.com .
