Russian promoter Kirill Pchelnikov is putting together a show in Kranodar (Russia) in late September and his company has announced that former four-division world champion Roy Jones Jr. is likely going to headline the card.
At age 45, Jones (58-8, 41KOs) continues to fight well beyond his best years. He was last seen in action on July 26th in Riga (Latvia) and stopped overmatched British boxer Courtney Fry in five rounds.
If the fight goes forward, it would make it the first time since 2011 where Jones saw action more than once in a single year.
