It appears that Roy Jones Jr.'s December 9 bout against Manny Siaca is going forward as planned. Don Steinberg reports that the bout will take place in Philadelphia, at the Liacouras Center.

The bout is actually going to be the main event of a pay-per-view telecast that will go head-to-head with the HBO telecast of Jermain Taylor's defense of the middleweight title against former junior middleweight champion Kassim Ouma. Not the best timing by Jones to have another pay-per-view against an unknown fighter, while HBO is showcasing a great bout for free on the same night.

Jones last fought in July, winning a twelve round decision over Prince Badi Ajamu, in Boise, Idaho. Prior to the Ajamu bout, Jones lost three straight bouts.
