Roy Jones Jr. is finally considering the call for retirement. Everything was set in motion for a rematch with Bernard Hopkins in March. There was one problem. IBO cruiserweight champion Danny Green was standing in the way. In less than three minutes, Green knocked Jones down and put him away at the packed Acer Arena in Australia.

A twenty-year career came crashing down when Green landed his right hand and Jones crumbled to the mat. Jones won titles at middleweight, super middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight. After the fight was over, Jones spoke with reporters and based on his comments - retirement is the likely option.

"Maybe, I don't know [if I'll retire]. I will go back home and see. I am 40, I've done everything I needed to. I tried and I didn't have what it takes. I knew it was going to be a tough fight, but I never underestimated him. He just landed a good shot. That's boxing. It happens," Jones said.
