UFC superstar Ronda Rousey has found some added motivation to retain her title this coming weekend at UFC 184, when she defends her belt against Cat Zingano. Rousey wants to pile up the cash in order to afford a ringside seat to Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao, taking place on May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
“I really want to go so bad,” Rousey told TMZ. “I gotta go beat Cat Zingano so I can make a couple million dollars and afford that ticket. Pacquiao has been very, very nice to me so I’m going to root for him.”
She won't need a few million, but ringside tickets are being sold (on the secondary market) as high as $60,000 by select brokers Those prices are likely to climb as the fight draws closer.
