Later tonight, Paul "The Punisher" Williams (30-0, 22 KOs) steps in the ring to showcase his skills against the biggest test of his career, 17-year veteran Sharmba "Little Big Man" Mitchell (57-5, 30 KOs).
Williams, called by some as the second coming of Thomas "Hitman" Hearns, because of his freakish frame and the ability to knock opponents out. At only 25-years-old, Williams is on his way to becoming a threat within the most profitable division in boxing. First, he must get by two-time junior welterweight champion Sharmba Mitchell, and Mitchell is not going to lay down for payday.
Williams is almost 6'2, and has two of the longest arms at welterweight, measuring at 79 inches. Much larger than the 5'7 Mitchell, who made his name fighting at junior welterweight. Mitchell only has speed and experience on his side, not enough in the eyes of many. After being stopped in two of his last four fights, insiders wonder if Mitchell can test Williams and make the contest competitive.
