Roman 'Rocky' Martinez (29-2-2, 17 KOs) said he will show the boxing world that his victory over Mexico's Orlando "Siri" Salido (42-13-2, 29 KOs) on April 11th was no fluke victory. With the win Martinez captured the 130-pound championship of the WBO. This time Martinez did not rule out the possibility of winning the fight by knockout.

The first time their match was part of an independent pay-per-view. This time it's going to be part of a huge event, on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The fight will be carried by Showtime PPV with Floyd Mayweather Jr. defending his WBC/WBA welterweight titles in the main event against Andre Berto.

"Now we know it's be a great fight. There might be a knockout. I will do the same job and show my people that there is still a lot left in Rocky Martinez. I should come out in the same way, maybe more because I'm in better condition. I might move a little more with putting my punches together. It does not bother me to be in Las Vegas. Judges must be neutral and the two of us will be the only arbitrators in there," Salido said.

"It's a great opportunity and a lot of exposure. So we decided to take the fight. It will be a great show. We are already well advanced in training and we'll climb into the ring in excellent condition."
