Roman Gonzalez Feels Estrada Would Easier in Rematch

WBC flyweight champion Roman "El Chocolatito" Gonzalez is willing to face Juan Francisco Estrada, the WBA/WBO champion, in a rematch of their 2012 battle. Gonzalez (40-0, 34KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over Estrada (28-2, 20KOs) in November of 2012 in Los Angeles.

Ever since the loss, Estrada has been pushing for revenge and wants their unification to happen sooner than later.

"If he wants to fight me again, lets negotiate the money with the people who are handling things and see if that fight is presented. Nothing would change in a new fight. The only thing that I can say is if I went up against Estrada again, it would an easier fighter than the first time. [The first time] it was very close, a very difficult fight but I felt that I won by two points or a point but I won it. Estrada is a good fighter and holds his own titles and I have mine," Gonzalez said.
