The trainer of Roger Mayweather was contacted by Reeklama to discuss the recent comments made by Floyd Mayweather Jr., who last week stated in a video interview that he was considering a brief retirement for one or two years. Mayweather Jr.'s adviser was also contacted, Leonard Ellerbe, who told the paper Mayweather was spending time with family and relaxing and was not thinking about boxing for the moment.

The paper contacted a source in Golden Boy Promotions and was told by the source - "Mayweather has no immediate plans to retire."

Roger denied that his nephew was considering retirement and made a prediction that Manny Pacquiao would get knocked out if an agreement was reached for a November fight.

"He [Floyd] ain't going anywhere. Floyd is the best fighter in the sport. Why would he leave? If Manny Pacquiao takes the drug tests, Floyd will kick Manny Pacquiao's ass. He knows he can't fight without that sh*t in him. That's why he wouldn't take the test. Shane Mosley is a tougher fight for my nephew than Pacquiao. And what happened to Shane? Floyd kicked his ass," Roger Mayweather said.
