Former champion Graciano Rocchigiani, 49-years-old, is being accused of attacking the owner of a bar located in Berlin on the 30th of December. The former super middleweight and light heavyweight champion allegedly landed punches to the head and jaw, sending the bar owner to the ground and later to the hospital. The bar owner's jaw is reportedly fractured.
Rocchigiani has been in trouble in the past. In 2004 he was charged with assault after punching a taxi driver, also in Berlin. He spent five months in jail for the incident.
Rocchigiani's career was a mixed bag of success. He is most famous for winning a lawsuit in 1998 against the WBC, in which he was awarded a $31 million judgment for damages when the sanctioning body took away his title and gave it to Roy Jones Jr. They later settled for an unknown sum.
