WBO super middleweight champion Robert Stieglitz commented on his bout with Ruben Eduardo Acosta. Robert confidently defended the title for the first time and knocked his opponent out in the fifth round.

“The opponent rushed to attack me immediately after the bell rang”, – told Stieglitz to sportbox.ru. – “Probably he wanted to surprise me. But I stuck to our tactics - put him under the pressure and used versatile punches. With the South American boxers you have to aim for the body. They take the hits into the head really well, but body punches can bring the result. From the second round I was in total control over the fight. The crucial moment came in the third round when I knocked him out with the left hook”.

Robert Stieglitz also told about his preferences for the future fights. It turns out he wants to meet another German boxer who was born in the Soviet Union. “It would be interesting to fight Arthur Abraham", - says Robert. - "He moved to the super middleweight division last year, and now he participates in the big tournament Super Six. Abraham is a strong fighter. I think we could make an interesting bout".
