WBO super middleweight champion Robert Stieglitz (41-2, 23 KOs) would not have a problem with fighting Arthur Abraham (33-3, 26 KOs) next. The two boxers co-headlined a show on Saturday night in Offenburg, Germany. In the co-feature, Stieglitz won a one-sided twelve round unanimous decision over previously unbeaten Henry Weber (15-1-1, 3 KOs). The scores were 116-112, 118-110 and 119-109. And in the main event Abraham stopped Pablo Farias (19-2, 11 KOs) in the fifth round to capture the WBO's European title at super middleweight.
Stieglitz is scheduled to face former champion Mikkel Kessler on April 14 in Copenhagen, Denmark. They were scheduled to fight last year and Kessler withdrew with an injury. If Kessler can't make the fight, for one reason or another, Stieglitz would be willing to fight Abraham.
"If he wants to call [for the fight], I would accept [the challenge]. I can guarantee you that 100%," Stieglitz said.
