The Paf sponsored heavyweight boxer Robert Helenius (22-1, 13KOs) will fight again in September at home, the Aland Islands.
Helenius suffered his first career defeat in April in Helsinki, after he was knocked in the sixth round of his WBC eliminator with tough Frenchman Johan Duhaupas. The win gave Duhaupas the vacant WBC silver heavyweight crown.
Helenius plans to bounce back stronger than ever and is still very motivated to achieve his dream of capturing a world title.
"I made some mistakes in the sixth round. I thought I had Duhaupas but I opened myself up a little too much and he came [at me] with a surprising punch, and the fight was over. But my career is not over. Many big champs have had a defeat and came back and won the heavyweight title. I will do the same," said the 6'7 "The Nordic Nightmare" Helenius.
He has analyzed the fight together with his father and manager, Karl Helenius, and trainer Johan Lindstrom, and they have started the process of returning to the ring.
"The next fight will be on Robert´s and Paf's home ground, in Mariehamn in September. And we will do some changes in Robert´s preparations before this fight," says Karl Helenius.
