ANAHEIM, CALIF. - Former world champion Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero (33-4-1, 18KOs) is looking to put on a show when he returns on August 27th in the headline fight of a Premier Boxing Champions on Spike TV card from the Honda Center in Anaheim.

Guerrero takes on Argentine slugger David Emanuel Peralta (25-2-1, 14KOs).

He fought in January when he lost a twelve round decision to Danny Garcia (32-0, 18KOs) in a battle for the vacant WBC welterweight title. Guerrero believes he was robbed in the contest and wants an immediate rematch.  Garcia is potentially going to fight on September 24th against Andre Berto.

"I want to get back in there with the top guys. All the fights are there. I have to get back in that position. I have to get them to stand toe-to-toe with me. I don't need to prove anything to myself. I know I can fight. I come in and work hard every day. I have to go and prove it to the fans. The fans are what makes us. I have to prove it to everybody watching that I'm there at the top level," Guerrero said.

"We definitely want a rematch with Danny Garcia. If I don't get that, it's anyone at 147 pounds. The guys are all there and I'm ready to battle."

Guerrero is not going to overlook Peralta. The last time he didn't take an opponent very seriously, he was nearly derailed by Aaron Marinez last June.

"You have to be able to be ready for anything in the ring. I know Peralta is going to be dangerous and at his best. I'm not looking past him. Training has been going great. I have my team together and we're working hard. We're staying focused and ready to get the job done. I have a tough guy in front of me on August 27. I have to take care of him and leave no doubts so that I can get in there against the top guys again," Guerrero said.

Tickets for the August 27 event, which is promoted by TGB Promotions, are priced at $31, $58, $108 and $203, plus applicable fees, and are on sale now.
