The trainer of WBO super bantamweight champion Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire, former world champion Robert Garcia, picks “Fighter of the Decade” Manny Pacquiao to win a twelve round decision against Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley in their WBO welterweight title fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas in Saturday.

Garcia told BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard that while he expects Pacquiao to win “it won’t be easy because Bradley is hungry, is in great shape, he’s got a great trainer (Joel Diaz).”

Garcia said “I know him (Bradley) who is from California. He’s a great person but he does have a hard fight and I think Pacquiao wins by decision.”

Meantime, the World Boxing Council board of governors who convened in Mexico City to finalize details on the first WBC World Cup will watch the fight of many times WBC champion Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley as guests of WBC president Don Jose Sulaiman.

Sulaiman and his distinguished guests will watch the fight at the Platinum Theater of Cinemex in the luxury Antara Polanco in Mexico City.

The WBC president earlier warned Pacquiao to be wary of Bradley. He said while he is very pleased with Pacquiao’s change in lifestyle and his Bible studies, he warned Pacquiao to be well prepared for Bradley whom he described as a hungry fighter.

He said that besides Bradley’s advantage in age (he is 28 while Pacquiao will be 34 in December) Bradley “is quick, hits hard and is a smart fighter” who could pose problems for Pacquiao unless the Filipino  boxing icon is in perfect condition.
