Sundays are known as the day of rest, especially for fighters in the midst of a training camp.

This upcoming Sunday, the normal hustle and bustle at the Robert Garcia Boxing Academy in Oxnard, Calif. will give way to charity for a young child, fighting his own fight.

A charity event will take place at the Oxnard gym to raise money for Eli Duran, a three-year old who is suffering from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

All proceeds from food and clothing purchases will be given to the family of Duran to offset treatment costs the family has incurred. People attending the event could also donate to the Duran family.

The event will take place from 12-4PM local time and admission is free.

Boxers who train at the Garcia gym will be in attendance and will be available to sign autographs and take pictures. Miguel "Mikey" Garcia, Brandon Rios, Evgeny Gradovich, Marco Antonio Rubio, Jesus Cuellar, Thomas Dulorme, and Michael Perez.

Even Marcos Maidana, who will fight Floyd Mayweather in two weeks' time, will be in attendance.

The Robert Garcia Boxing Academy is located 1451 Pacific Avenue in Oxnard, just south of Wooley Road.
