Super middleweight contender Roamer Angulo will face Evert Bravo in an all-Colombia battle tonight in a 10 round bout at the Polyforum Zam Na in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico.
Angulo (22-0, 19 knockouts), who resides in Bogota, has not fought since May 27, when he stopped Rolando Mansilla in the second round.
The hard-hitting Angulo has won his last four bouts by knockout, including five of his last six.
Angulo's most notable victory was an eight round unanimous decision over former amateur standout Izaak Cardona in August of 2015.
Angulo is ranked number seven by the WBO and number 14 by the IBF.
Bravo (24-7-1, 18 KOs), who hails from Arboletes, has won three of his last four bouts. His most notable bouts were defeats to Sean Monaghan, Roberto Bolonti, and Thomas Oosthuizen.
In the main event, Elias Espadas (16-3, 11 KOs) squares off against Felipe Santos Pedroso in a 10 round middleweight bout.
Espadas, who was born and raised in Merida, has won his last seven bouts. Santos Pedroso (15-3, 13 KOs) has split his last four bouts.
Heavyweight Tyrone Spong (10-0, 10 KOs) will face Carlos Nascimento (16-5, 12 KOs) of Brazil in a 10 round bout.
Fringe featherweight contender Ruben Garcia (22-3-1, 9 KOs), who lost to Nonito Donaire in his last bout on Sept. 23, squares off against Julio Cesar Cruz (11-4, 6 KOs) in a 10 round bout.
