France’s Kevin Lele Sadjo has relinquished his European super-middleweight title. It will therefore next be contested by Ivan Zucco of Italy and the British and Commonwealth champion Callum Simpson.
Simpson, 28 years old and 17-0 (12KOs), defended his Commonwealth title when stopping Elvis Ahorgah in February. The 29-year-old Zucco, 21-0 (18KOs), stopped Kasim Gashi in December; the deadline for purse bids is March 24
The European welterweight champion Samuel Molina’s mandatory title defence against Anas Messaoudi of Belgium is to be staged by Tundra Promotions after they won purse bids on Wednesday to do so.
Spain’s Molina is 26 years old and 32-3 (15KOs). Messaoudi, 31, is 16-0 (10KOs).
A deadline of April 2 for purse bids has been set for the fight that has been ordered between the European heavyweight champion Labinot Xhoxhaj and his challenger Mourad Aliev.
Kosovo’s Xhoxhaj is 32 years old, and 20-0-1 (16KOs). Aliev, the 29-year-old Frenchman, is 13-0 (10KOs).
An agreement was also reached, on Wednesday, and therefore on the eve of the purse-bids deadline, for a fight between the European cruiserweight champion Leonard Mosquea and his mandatory challenger Mateusz Masternak.
Mosquea, 31, is from France and 16-0 (9). Poland’s 37-year-old Masternak is 49-6 (32KOs). They are to fight in Poland, as overseen by Knockout Promotion, on a date and at a site to be confirmed.
