Amir Khan is still pondering whether to move up to welterweight following his showdown with Lamont Peterson on December 10. Bolton's finest has already picked up the WBA and IBF light-welterweight titles, and freely admits that the clash with Peterson in Washington DC could be his last at 140lbs.
But Khan also says if the right fight is available, he may wait before moving up to a star-studded 147lbs division that includes pound-for-pound superstars Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
A match-up with the unbeaten WBO strap holder Bradley is the best out there at 140lbs. But while Khan says he's ready to fight the unbeaten Californian, he won't lose any sleep if it doesn't happen.
Another potential future Khan foe is talented California lightweight Robert 'The Ghost' Guerrero, and Khan's trainer Freddie Roach says a match-up is a possible.
"Guerrero is a good friend of mine. He's a good kid. He's a good fighter," said Roach. "If that fight made sense and it was the best offer out there, it would definitely be a great fight. Robert is a great fighter and a great champion. If he wanted to fight Amir at 140, they could keep it around the weight, but if he's more interested in fighting at 147, we'll go there."
