Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach has revealed that he made up with heavyweight contender Tyson Fury.

Roach had assisted Fury with last year's camp to prepare for the December fight with WBC world champion Deontay Wilder at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

In the aftermath of that fight, Roach was very critical with the way Fury's corner was run and the overall strategy for the fight. Roach worked the corner as a cutman, with Ben Davison running things as head coach.

But Roach recently received a call from Fury and they mended any broken fences.

Fury is scheduled to return on June 15th, in a battle with Tom Schwarz at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

"Tyson has called me to ask if he can use my gym again when he moves camp from England to Los Angeles. Of course he can. I like Tyson and he's always been polite with me," Roach told Daily Mail.

"The Wild Card gym is all he has requested so far. Last time he took me for a steak dinner as my fee for helping out so we will see if he does the same again."

Roach admits that he still views IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO world champion Anthony Joshua as the best boxer at the weight, but cautions that Fury is a very serious threat to his reign.

"I like Joshua a lot. I see him as the best heavyweight in the world, ahead of Wilder and Fury. But I would warn him to be careful of Tyson because he can fight. Really fight," Roach said.

Joshua is scheduled to fight on June 1, at Madison Square Garden in New York City. No opponent has been finalized at the moment, as challenger Jarrell Miller fell out after failing three drug tests.
