Floyd Mayweather Jr. (43-0, 26KOs) is the next target for Manny Pacquiao (54-4-2, 38KOs), according to the Filipino fighter's trainer Freddie Roach. Pacquiao is scheduled to face Juan Manuel Marquez for a fourth time on December 8th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Mayweather is probably not going to fight until 2013.

Pacquiao was recently interviewed by ESPN and revealed that he's willing to give Mayweather the bigger piece of the split, 55-45, and taking part in a random drug testing program was no longer an issue.

"Marquez was not the first choice. We wanted Mayweather [for December]. That didn't happen. I hope we get Mayweather next. We have a really tough fight in front of us right now. If Manny does what he has to do [against Marquez], let's go make the Mayweather fight. I think Mayweather is running out of opponents. I'm not involved in the negotiations, but I think it's a good sign that Manny is talking with 50 Cent. We really want that fight," Roach said.
