Trainer Freddie Roach would live to get Manny Pacquiao in the ring with Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26KOs) - in what is undeniably the biggest fight in boxing.
Pacquiao's promoter, Top Rank CEO Bob Arum, is currently negotiating a potential 2015 mega-match between Mayweather and Pacquiao.
If the Mayweather discussions fall apart, Roach has made it no secret that Danny Garcia (29-0, 17KOs) would be his preferred second option .
Both Mayweather and Garcia are under the umbrella of powerful manager/adviser Al Haymon.
Roach believes Haymon is the key figure in making a fight with either option.
"Al Haymon has both fighters. Which one if he gonna give up? Haymon, are you going to give up your star? Your so called star? Or are you going to give up your up and coming kind of a slugger? That's for Al Haymon to answer. Give him a call and ask him," Roach told BoxingScene.com.
