New York, New York - Much has been said about the new marriage between two-division world champion Timothy Bradley (33-1-1, 13KOs) and veteran trainer Teddy Atlas.

Bradley will have his third go around with Manny Pacquiao on April 9th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Team Pacquiao is adamant about the upcoming fight being the final bout of the Filipino superstar’s Hall of Fame career.

The selling point of this trilogy fight is Bradley's being a better fighter under the tutelage of Atlas. They had their first fight in November, with Bradley easily dominating and knocking out Brandon Rios. Bradley hired Atlas last year after parting ways with career trainer Joel Diaz in September.

Roach feels there could be a possibility that Bradley is a better fighter since the previous meeting with Pacquiao in 2014 - which saw Manny win a twelve round unanimous decision.

“It could be,” Roach told BoxingScene.com. “Teddy has been around boxing for a long time. The first fight together could be a little rough. The next couple of fights it could get better. I’m not going to give him credit because he didn’t have much in front of him in Brandon Rios. Now he has Manny Pacquiao in front of him and I’m not going to give him credit until he beats Manny Pacquiao.”

Roach points out that it takes a certain amount of time to adjust when a fighter starts working with a new trainer. New trainer or not, Roach sees Atlas as not being a factor in the final outcome.

“It does change a little bit with a new trainer in camp,” explained Roach. “I got the better fighter, so I’m not worried about it. Manny isn’t a hard guy to get up for fights. He knows he has to be at his best to win this fight. Once he’s in the gym, he gives me 100 percent.

Roach also believes Pacquiao is fresher especially coming off shoulder surgery last year. Pacquiao injured his right shoulder during last May's decision loss to Floyd Mayweather.

“He’s 100 percent,” Roach said. “The doctor gave him the green light. He’s 100 percent ready to start. I have a title fight in Montreal and we’ll go to the Philippines on February 2nd [to begin camp].”

Since it's being dubbed as his last fight, Roach wants Pacquiao to go out with a bang.

“Manny wants to go out with a bang and knock Tim out so I predict a knockout in nine,” Roach said
