Trainer Freddie Roach is going to have Amir Khan target all of the champions at junior welterweight. Khan defends his WBA title against Paulie Malignaggi next Saturday at New York's Madison Square Garden. Roach doesn't see anything that Malignaggi brings to the table as being a problem for them in the fight. Everything Malignaggi does, Roach says his fighter can do better.

"He’s on an upswing right now, but it’s about to end. We have an advantage in every aspect of the game.....speed, power and boxing ability. Everything he does well, we do it better," Roach said.

Roach said the goal, after Malignaggi, is to conquer the other champions at the weight. IBF/WBC champion Devon Alexander and WBO champion Timothy Bradley are both sitting on HBO dates without set opponents. The dates are far enough away for Khan to make either fight.

“Our goal is to unify the titles. That’s why we are here in America. We are going to make a statement with Paulie, Devon Alexander and right down the list to Timothy Bradley. It’s the best division in the world and we want to conquer that," Roach said.
