BoxingScene.com has been advised that negotiations for a unification between female bantamweight champions, Yazmin Rivas and Susie Ramadan, are going very well and a deal is reportedly close for a showdown in Mexico on September 22nd.

Rivas (25-7, 9KOs) won the vacant IBF title with a close split decision over previously undefeated Ramadan (23-1, 8KOs) last October in Mexico. Ramadan captured the WBC title this past July with a ten round unanimous decision over Usanakorn Kokietgym in Australia.
