Brandon "Bam Bam" Rios said today following a well-attended press conference at the Venetian Resort Hotel that while "being next to Manny Pacquiao is great, I've got to come in there and show no respect."

Rios told ABS-CBN's Dyan Castillejo and this reporter that "the moment you give a fighter a little doubt, a little respect he thinks you're scared and he's got you already. But if you show him no respect and that you're ready to fight and not worried about him" its different.

Rios said "I'm a warrior and anything can happen (in the ring). Manny is not a God. He's a human being just like me. I a a fighter and I come to fight and I'll beat him."

2012 "Trainer of the Year Robert Garcia paid tribute to Pacquiao indicating "its always great to be in front of the best fighter of the decade. Manny has done so much for boxing, so much for his country we got to admire him for what he's done."

Garcia said "its a great honor for Brandon to fight him and we'll be prepared."

He said Rios "trains very hard, he has a tremendous heart, a tremendous chin. Brandon is going to come to fight. We know Manny has never been in a bring fight and Brandon has never been in a boring fight."

Garcia predicted "its going to be back and forth and the world is going to see a fight full of action because they want to please their fans and their countries."

He said Rios has been jogging and doing some light training in the gym for the past three or four weeks. We'll pick it up and get the camp officially started in mid-September" in Oxnard where both WBO featherweight champion Mikey Garcia, Robert's younger brother and Nonito "The Filipino Flash" will  also train for upcoming fights .

Garcia said he "wants to be here (in Macau) at least two weeks before the Pacquiao fight.
