3 lucky winners to be crowned to be crowned
PHILADELPHIA- Three lucky contestants will be chosen as ring card girls for a professional boxing card on Thursday August 25, 2005 at Water World in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.
The contest will take begin at 3pm on Sunday August 21 at Water World at 655 Schuylkill Road (Route 724), in Phoenixville, PA. The three winners will be compensated for their ring card work on the 25th. Prospective contestants can call Don Elbaum at 610-933-7510 or Water World at 610-935-1290.
On August 25, aggressive, Jr. Middleweight “Lightning” Harry Joe Yorgey will look to stay undefeated against his most experienced opponent, Michael McFail of Baltimore, Maryland. It is the main event of a six-bout card, which also features 5-1 Richard Stewart (dropping from heavyweight to cruiserweight) vs. Chuck Berry, promoted by Peltz Boxing.
Also scheduled to box are the undefeated Saeed Hawkins and tall lefty, Max Alexander. Both have shown fine boxing skill and Hawkins will flash some power punching.
