Cuba's Guillermo Rigondeaux (15-0, 10 KO's), who holds the super bantamweight championships of the World Boxing Association (WBA) and World Boxing Organization (WBO), is targeting a unification Mexico's Leo Santa Cruz (29-0-1, 17 KO's), champion at 122 pounds under the World Boxing Council (WBC).

Rigondeaux is warning Santa Cruz that he better not make any excuses after the match. The two-time Olympic gold medal winner says Nonito Donaire made many excuses after suffering defeat in their 2013 unification clash.

"Leo Santa Cruz...listen, I've had good opinion of all Mexicans, and you said you want to fight the best, and.....well, do you know who the best is at 122-pounds? It's Guillermo Rigondeaux and I have two titles, and I am waiting for yours! We will unify to know who is the best at 122. I hope you are well prepared and do not make excuses like Nonito, who knows says he will come back down to 122 to fight me again. Here I am waiting," Rigondeaux told A Los Golpes Radio.
