Ricky Hatton's troubles are mounting. Local authorities want to question the Manchester star about the night he was snorting cocaine, which was secretly captured on video and disclosed to British tabloid News of The World. Hatton's family and friends said the fighter had been depressed for several weeks. He entered a rehabilitation clinic on Monday.

The Manchester police want to question Hatton to obtain the identity of the individual who supplied him with the cocaine. They plan to question him once he gets out of rehab.

"Police in Trafford are aware of the allegations made against Mr Hatton and are looking into the matter. 'Greater Manchester Police acknowledges that Mr Hatton has voluntarily entered rehabilitation and the force will respect his privacy. Once his rehabilitation has been completed, officers will be speaking to Mr Hatton about the allegations,'' said a police spokesman in a statement.
