Philippine bantamweight Richard Olisa has lost a ten round unanimous decision to Japan’s Takuya Kogawa in Tokyo.
The scorecards of all three judges were for Kogawa by margins of 100-92, 99-93 and 97-95.
With the loss Olisa dropped to 18-6-1 with 11 knockouts while the 23 year old Kogawa improved to 11-1 with 6 knockouts.
The Japanese boxer was coming off a first round TKO over Thailand’s Petchnamnung Sithsaithong last March 8 while Olisa, in his last fight on June 20 suffered a 8th round TKO at the hands of tough Danilo Pena in a Philippine super flyweight title bout.
