An injury to Niklaus Flaz means his April 5 bout with Gabriel Maestre is now off in Philadelphia, with the co-main event between Ricardo Salas and Kent Cruz elevated to center stage.

Flaz and Maestre were due to meet in a WBA eliminator for the welterweight title at the 2300 Arena.

Welterweight Salas is 20-2-2 (15 KOs) and hails from Mexico City, while Cruz – from St Louis, Missouri – is 17-1-3 (11 KOs)

The junior welterweight bout between Connecticut contender Mykquan Williams, 22-0-2 (11 KOs), and 30-7-1 (21 KOs) Mexican Antonio Moran, the junior lightweight clash featuring Orlando-based southpaw Geo Lopez, 17-0 (10 KOs), and the 34-15 (22 KOs) Nicaraguan Rene Alvarado, and the light heavyweight eight-rounder between Cleveland’s 10-0-1 (8 KOs) Dante Benjamin and Texas-based Mexican Rodolfo Gomez Jnr, who is 14-8-3 (10 KOs), all still feature on the ProBox TV bill.
