Ricardo Alvarez To See Action on Broner-Maidana

WBC Continental Americas light welterweight champion Ricardo "Dinamita" Alvarez is scheduled to have his fourth fight of the year on December 14th at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The older brother of superstar Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, Ricardo wants to secure a title shot in 2014. Alvarez (22-3-2, 14 KOs) will face Rod Salka (18-2, 3KOs) of Philadelphia on the card. The main event of the Showtime card, a televised quadrupleheader, will feature a welterweight battle between WBA welterweight champion Adrien Broner and top rated challenger Marcos Maidana.
