Junior welterweight contender Regis Prograis will be fighting tonight against Wilfrido Buelvas, promoter Lou DiBella recently confirmed to BoxingScene.com. The 10 round bout will take place at the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi.

The hard-hitting southpaw, who resides in Houston, has knocked his last three opponents and 11 of his last 12.

Prograis, who has appeared on a handful of 'ShoBox: The New Generation' telecasts, is ranked number eight by the WBC.

Aside from a victory over Florez in July of 2013, Buelvas' (18-6, 12 KOs) victories have come against limited opposition. The fighter from Barranquilla, Colombia has lost in recent years to Humberto Soto, Aaron Herrera, and Nery Saguilan.

In his most recent defeat on March 26, Buelvas was knocked out in the first round by unbeaten Maurice Hooker.

Also fighting on the 'Broadway Boxing' card will be former world light heavyweight title challenger Cedric Agnew. He will face Martin Verdin in an eight round bout.

Agnew (28-2, 14 KOs) has not fought in a year and a half. In his only attempt at a world title belt in April of 2013, Agnew was knocked out by Sergey Kovalev.

Verdin (21-19-2, 18 KOs) has also been away from the ring, having not fought since November of 2014.

Junior middleweight Eric Walker (14-0, 7 KOs), who resides in nearby Plaquemine, squares off against Zack Kuhn (9-3-1, 4 KOs) in a 10 round bout.
