Ray Sanchez Headlines 6/23 Event

Ray Sanchez, the all-action and enormously popular welterweight from Albuquerque, will be featured on Top Rank's big summertime fight card on Friday, June 23 in Nogales, Arizona.

Sanchez, 16-1 with 12 knockouts, will box on the Solo Boxeo de Miller championship card headlined by NABF super featherweight champion Fernando Trejo of Pachuca, Mexico. Trejo will face challenger Jose Leonardo Cruz of Colombia. Victor Ortiz, a very skilled 13-1 lightweight from Oxnard, Calif., will be on the opening bout televised by Telefutura.

The Top Rank card will be outdoors, at the Palo Duro Creek Golf Club.
