Rashid Kassem (8-0, 5 KOs) faces Reynaldo Mora (7-1-1, 4 KOs) at the Nordic Fight Night at the Ballerup Super Arena in Copenhagen on June 20, and is expecting a tough test from the Nicaraguan contender.
“I’m looking forward to this fight,” said the 24-year-old Kassem, who returns following a knockout win over Anto Nakic in Copenhagen last May.
"Mora is a good fighter with a good record. This is exactly the type of fight I need at this stage of my career. I want tougher and tougher tests and bigger and bigger challenges.
"I plan to start the fight fast and put the pressure on Mora, however I will try to be a little more measured than I was in my last fight. I know I say this every time, so let’s see if I can stick to the plan, as I’m eager to show everybody what I can do and that I’m one to watch for the future. What I can guarantee is an entertaining performance as always!”
In the evening's main event Patrick Nielsen (25-1, 12 KOs) faces Ghanaian Charles Adamu (23-6, 17 KOs) in a defence of his WBA International Super Middleweight title, while featherweight talent Dennis Ceylan (14-0-1, 7 KOs) takes on Sergio Prado (11-4-1, 4 KOs). Full details of the undercard will be announced shortly.
