Danish lightweight Rashid Kassem (7-0-0, 4 KOs) will face Anto Nakic (2-3-0, 1 KO) on May 2 at Frederiksberg-Hallerne in Copenhagen.

Kassem last fought in February in Frederikshavn, where he put in an impressive performance, knocking out Gyula Tallosi in the second round. Next up for the 23 year-old is the Croatian Nakic.

"He is someone I should beat, and someone I will beat," said Kassem. ‘’I’m not underestimating him as you never know in boxing, but I'm in good shape and I intend to deliver the goods as usual. It’s no secret that I want to make bigger fights but I have to take it step by step.”

Kassem joins an action-packed show in Copenhagen. Micki Nielsen defends his WBC International Cruiserweight title against undefeated American Junior Anthony Wright, while the ‘Swedish Princess’ Klara Svensson challenges Erica Anabella Farias for the WBC Female World Light Welterweight crown.
