Highly esteemed cruiserweight contender Rakhim Chakhkiev (16-0, 12 KOs), who plans to return on a date in February or March, has named WBC champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk (47-2-1, 33 KOs) as the dream opponent and his main goal for 2013. "The Machine" is very eager to capture the green championship belt that finds itself around the waist of the popular Polish boxer.
"My priority is the title of the World Boxing Council. Fighting for that belt is our main goal. We are not forgeting about the other [sanctioning organizations], and we are trying to climb to the top of their rankings," said Chakhkiev, who is ranked at number 3 by the World Boxing Council.
