At the Jostens Center in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, a battle held at a catch-weight max of 145-pounds, saw Ray Narh (25-1, 21KOs) win a ten round unanimous decision over former champion Freddie Norwood (43-4, 23KOs). The scores were 99-89, 100-88 and 100-88.
Narh was too big, 5'10 to 5'6, and too long for the 41-year-old veteran. Norwood did well in the first round but everything went downhill from there. Norwood lost two points in the ninth round for a punch to the back of the head. Narh's KO steak of seven was broken. Norwood is now 2-2 in his last four fights.
