Jose Bonilla, the trainer for former champion Carlos Quintana, is not happy with a recent offer for a possible fight with junior middleweight prospect Vanes Martirosyan. BoxingScene.com reported last week Quintana-Martirosyan was being discussed. The fight could take place on April 10 in Madison Square Garden on the possible Andre Berto-Paulie Malignaggi card.

Speaking with The Vocero, Bonilla said a win over Martirosyan is worth enough to them.

"I do not like that fight because what does Quintana have to gain? They are mentioning the month of April and the Garden. The guy needs Quintana's name, and we don't need his. Quintana gains nothing by beating that guy, but if he beats Quintana he goes for a championship. We told [Lou] DiBella to bring us the big names," Bonilla said.
