Things are getting very heated between unbeaten super bantamweight champions Scott Quigg and Carl Frampton.

Quigg claims to have a "very good source" who advised him that Frampton was knocked out in sparring at a gym on Scotland. Frampton denies the incident every took place.

Frampton was confronted with the information during his 'The Gloves Are Off' segment with Quigg.

While Frampton denies that he was knocked out, he freely admits to being knocked down in sparring.

"He has got demons in there now he has been put down," Quigg told The Gloves Are Off. "But not only that, he has also been knocked out. The person who knocked [Frampton] out is going to be watching this. Are you saying you've never been knocked out?"

In his last fight against Alejandro Gonzalez Jr. last July, Frampton was dropped twice in the first round. Frampton shook off the first round, dominated most of the fight and won a twelve round unanimous decision.

Frampton shot back with his own claims, stating that he watched a video where Quigg was being dominated in sparring by a much smaller fighter.

"I have seen footage of you, not being knocked out, but beaten up by a kid much lighter," Frampton said. "I've seen video footage so it wasn't a gym rumour. I've seen it."
