Wildwood, NJ’s Crest Pier is the winner in the race to host the next night of boxing from Joey Eye Boxing Promotions.  Joey Eye Boxing Promotions was well received in their hometown of Philadelphia, but they are going to the Jersey shore on October 28th.  Surely they will be welcomed as their main event pits local school-teacher, Chucky Mussachio vs. Dhafir Smith.    Mussachio’s (7-0) most recent fight was a difficult win at the Tropicana Hotel/Casino and Smith has been steadily winning after losing 10 straight bouts.

Joe Christy is all action and Larry Brothers is the kind of guy who will continually answer.  The middleweights will ask questions of each other over 6-rounds and it is promising excitement.

Durable Ron Boddie will look to lace them up against Alfred Kinsey.  Cruiserweight and sometimes Light Heavyweight, Boddie will be at 175 lbs for this battle.  He’ll look to win after losing 6 straight to opponents with a combined record of 93-16.  Boddie has fought 53 times as a pro but his recent losing streak has been set by Chad Dawson, Larry Marks, Saeed Hawkins and Jose Spearman.  Kinsey will have to work to win this one, as he did in February when he bested Aneudi Sanchez.

Pat Majewski will battle with debuting Manuel Guzman and James Toto will try to show his bark his equal to his bite when he tangles with Kevin Hood in a 4-round heavyweight bout.

The Crest Pier at Wildwood, NJ plays host on Oct. 28th.  You can score tickets by calling 267-304-9399 or by getting there early on the 28th.  Also see what EyeOnBoxing.com has to say as the night gets closer.  It is the official website of Joey Eye Boxing Promotions, which actually features much more than just news on their promotions.
