Former WBO light welterweight champion Ruslan Provodnikov was disappointed by what he saw during the 'Fight of The Century' between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao, which took place on May 2nd.

Provodnikov is a blood and guts warrior who draws high ratings on the cable networks due to his very fan friendly style.

He was ringside at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas to support Pacquiao. Both boxers are trained by Freddie Roach at the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, California.

Provodnikov was so bored by the action that left after the eleventh round, finding no desire to stick around for the decision because he saw Mayweather as a wide winner.

"It was very boring. Honestly, I thought the atmosphere in the arena would be different. For example, for the fights with Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley everyone just went crazy. You already had goosebumps [before the fight even started]! But everything was simple and boring [on May 2nd], beginning with the show and ending with the fight. There was no atmosphere in the arena for a big holiday [like Cinco De Mayo]. Everyone came, sat, watched and left disappointed," Provodnikov told Sportbox.

"Frankly, I do not know [what the scores even were], because we were gone after the eleventh round. But this is not important. I thought Manny was fairly beaten and everyone agrees."
