German heavyweight Nelvie Tiafack, who won a bronze medal in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, will make his debut as a professional boxer July 19 in Heidelberg (Germany) against an opponent to be announced, reports BILD.

The 26-year-old is still not signed up by any promoter and told BILD there are still ongoing negotiations with both Queensberry and Matchroom. The fight in Heidelberg is a one-fight only deal.

Tiafack lost to future gold medal winner Bakhodir Jalolov in the semi-finals in Paris and has been mentioned as a future pro almost ever since. He has spent a lot of time in UK gyms sparring with, among others, Anthony Joshua.
