Junior middleweight prospect Prichard Colon (13-0, 10KOs) of Puerto Rico dropped Hector Munoz (23-14-1) in the first round and then worked him over for a six round unanimous decision win at 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The scores were 60-53, 60-53 and 60-51.
Colon has now gone the distance in his last three fights after knocking out his first ten opponents. It was unexpected for Munoz to go the distance in this fight. In two of his last three fights, he was stopped in three rounds by Jermall Charlo last year and Ronald Cruz knocked him out in three rounds as well. Munoz did get an upset win over Hector Camacho Jr. in 2013.
Colon had seven fights in 2014 and want to be equally as active in 2015.
