WBC featherweight world champion Jhonny Gonzales and former multi-division king Jorge “Travieso” Arce stepped on the scale for a pre-fight weigh-in prior to their monumental clash in Los Mochis, Sinaloa on October 4th. Both fighters are currently focused on their respective training camps, so they didn’t have any problems with the scale.
The weigh-in was billed as a 30-day weighin but the fighters recently weighed in with the fight being finalized after initially appearing to be off.
Jhonny González tipped the scale on 131.18lb. Meanwhile Arce, tipped it at 130.51lb.
In this way, both fighters made a statement, showing everyone that they are in great shape and ready to offer one of the best fights of the year.
