CHICAGO - Undefeated Polish boxing prospects Mateusz Masternak and Andrzej Fonfara will be featured at the SOLO BOXEO De Miller/OCTOBER FURY event this Friday night, October 20th  at Cicero Stadium.

The massive eight bout OCTOBER FURY card is presented by Dominic Pesoli’s 8 Count Productions, HOME OF THE BEST IN CHICAGO BOXING and Bob Arum’s Top Rank Incorporated, along with Miller Lite and TCF Bank.

Cicero Stadium is located at 1909 S. Laramie, just minutes from the Eisenhower and Stevenson Expressways. Doors for this event will open at 5:30pm with the first bell at 6:30pm. Tickets, starting at $30, are on sale in advance by calling 312-226-5800.

Earlier this month Tomasz Adamek was in Chicago defending his world title in front of thousands of Chicago Polish fight fans and that is exactly the kind of future success both of them want to emulate.”

Nineteen year old heavy handed Masternak, 3-0 (3KO’s) from Staro Lagowica, Poland will battle undefeated Chicagoan William Choulout, 1-0 (1KO) in a four round light heavyweight bout.

Last month Masternak stunned the packed house at the Aragon Ballroom with a thrilling first round knockout of Jason Medina. Choulout made his pro debut with a third round technical decision over Reynaldo Reyes on February 3, 2006 in Chicago.  

Eighteen year old Fonfara, 2-0 from Warsaw will face Chicagoan Johnny Higgins in a four round welterweight bout. Fonfara took a unanimous decision over Gregory Holmes at the Odeum in Villa Park, IL in his last fight on June 23, 2006. Higgins will be making his pro debut in this bout.
