Piotr Wilczewski (26-1, 8 KO) easily outpointed Aziz Daari (24-14-4, 20 KO) from France over ten rounds in the main event of the boxing show in Dzierżoniów, Poland. Thus, "Wilk" captured the vacant TWBA super middleweight belt. The 31-year-old Pole's advantage was unquestionable during the whole contest. Daari focused on throwing one decisive punch while Wilczewski, who was fighting in his hometown, continually jabbed him with a left hand.
"Wilk" seemed to be very well concentrated from the beggining so as to avoid numerous menacing hooks of the 37-year-old Frenchman. The bout's pace was pretty fast. In the second half of the fight, the opponent seemed to lose his strength which let Wilczewski throw damaging punches under Daari's right elbow. The final round was the fastest one thanks to the Pole who speeded up and was even close to flooring Daari. Ultimately, the Frenchman was saved by the final bell. The judges didn't have any doubts and the scorecards were: 100:91, 100:91 and 100:90.
