All fighters made weight for the 2016 season premier of Boxeo Al Maximo, which airs live on Univision Puerto Rico from Coliseo Roger E. Mendoza in Caguas, Puerto Rico.

Headlining the show, unbeaten super featherweight prospect Alberto Machado faces Mexico's Jose Luiz Araiza in a scheduled eight-round bout. Machado (12-0, 10KOs) weighed 130.6 lbs. for his first televised main event, while Araiza (31-14-2, 22KOs) weighed 131.8 lbs.

The bout marks just the second time Araiza fights in Puerto Rico. His lone other trip came in Oct. '11, suffering a 2nd round knockout at the hands of Jonathan Oquendo.

Machado has scored knockout wins in each of his seven starts, none of which have lasted beyond four rounds.

Also on the show, Abner Cotto - the second cousin of former four-division champion Miguel Cotto, who promotes Saturday's show - fights for the first time in 15 months as he faces Mexico's Alvaro Ortiz in a super lightweight contest also scheduled for eight rounds.
