The fire will fly at the South America Sports Center in León. Welterweight Omar "Businessman 'Chavez (21-0-1, 15 KOs) and Rodrigo Juarez is the main event battle of the "Bicentennial Fire" which is organized by Zanfer promotions and will be broadcast by TV Azteca.
"This commitment is one of the toughest in my career. We are going to box, look to impose our will. The fight is eight rounds, are we're prepared." said the young native of Culiacan, Sinaloa. After weighing in at the Sport City Gym, Chavez's opponent, Rodrigo Juarez, said he will use this opportunity to defeat the Chávez dynasty.
"A win will put me back in the spotlight, we are really going shock people in this fight," said the experienced Juárez.
Also on the card, former welterweight world champion, José Luis Lopez (50-4-2, 30 KOs) will climb into the ring against Francisco' Panchito ' Sierra (20-3, 19 KOs).
Lizardo Moreno will face Guadalupe "Lupillo" Hernandez, and another battle to draw attention is that of Jose Carlos Vargas (7-2, 5 KOs), younger brother of former world champion 'Chango' Vargas, facing Lecona Jonathan.
